Santa's Not Real

October 2007

Liam was explaining to me about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - its 4 turtle characters, their names, their eyeband colour, what weapons they use, etc.

Liam: "... and he have swords. They have a really cool house." Suddenly he went quiet and looked upset. "Santa isn't real."
Mommy: Shocked "Why do you say that?"
Liam: "I asked Santa 2 times for the Ninja Turtle House and I didn't get it."
Mom: "Oh, remember you have to be a very good boy to get what you want from Santa. Maybe you wasn't before."
Liam: "I am always good."
Mom: "You can try to be 'more' good and if Santa sees that you are really a good boy then he will think you should get one for Christmas"
Liam: Suddenly went to his room and cleaned up.

Mommy's personal note: Liam actually asked for that Christmas 2005 and 2006. He is asking for it again this Christmas. That forced me to look for it hard and finally found it on ebay. I could not find it in the last 2 years. I am looking forward for his reaction when he opens that present :)
